Hoosiers, Donegan Win Courtney Cole Invitational

IU Claims Top Three Individuals
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – For the first time since the 2018-19 season, the Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team claimed the team title after 36 holes at the Courtney Cole Invitational played at The Pfau Course on Tuesday.
The Hoosiers shot an 8-over 296 for the second-straight round to finish at 592 (+16) to finish 36 shots ahead of second-place Cincinnati (626; +52). Indiana earned the team title in the tournament for the first time since the Lady Boilermaker Classic on April 14, 2019.

CHIP-INS
• Freshman Áine Donegan earned her third-straight top-15 finish and her first collegiate tournament title after shooting a 144 (71-73; E) over two rounds at The Pfau. She converted birdie opportunities on No. 6, No. 9 and No. 13 in the final round.
• The Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, native is the first Hoosier to win an event since Priscilla Schmid (209; -7) took the individual crown at The Landfall Tradition on Oct. 27, 2019.
• Junior Valerie Clancy vaulted to runner-up honors after shooting a Hoosier-best 71 (-1) over the final 18 holes. She converted a team-high four birdies, including back-to-back holes on No. 11 and 12. She finished second overall at 146 (75-71; +2), her best career finish and second top-5 of her collegiate career.
• Fifth-year senior Mary Parsons finished third overall after shooting a 5-over 77 on the second 18. She carded birdies on No. 14 and No. 16 to finish at 149 (+5) for the tournament.
• Senior Alexis Miestowski tied for sixth place overall with a two-round score of 154 (78-76; +10). Her second round of 76 (+4) consisted of birdies on No. 3 and No. 17.
• Freshman Beatriz Junqueira tied for 24th after shooting a 164 (88-76; +20) in her home debut. Her much-improved second round of 76 (+4) played a pair of birdies on No. 10 and No. 17.
INDIVIDUALS
• Junior Hanna Tanaka nearly cracked the top-10 (t-11th) after shooting a second-round 77 to get to 156 (79-77; +12) overall with a birdie on the first tee box.
• Sophomore Morgan Dabagia knocked in back-to-back birdies on No. 12 and 13 to register a 78 (+6) in the second round. She tied for 14th overall after shooting a 159 (81-78; +15).
• Senior Arushi Singh tied for 21st overall with a two-round tally of 162 (78-84; +18).
• For the second-consecutive round senior Maddie Dittoe turned in an 82 (+10) on the scorecard. She holed out a birdie on No. 5 to finish t-24th at 164 (82-82; +20).
• Freshman Lydia Cryer finished 35th after shooting a 179 (88-91; +35).
