EVANSTON, Ill. – Indiana field hockey had a couple chances inside the Northwestern zone but couldn't convert anything in a 5-0 loss in Evanston on Friday afternoon.

KEY MOMENTS

Northwestern opened the scoring with a goal at the 6:39 mark in the first period.
Sofia Keen made a huge goal line defensive save with just four minutes left in the first to deny Northwestern a second goal.
Shannon McNally came off her line to force a shot that goes wide off a breakaway opportunity by Northwestern inside the final minute of the first period.With just four seconds in the first period, Shannon McNally made a stick save to keep the IU deficit at one goal going into the second period.
Early in the second period, the Wildcats tallied their second goal of the game.
Northwestern found the board again in the middle of the second period to go up three goals.
