
Hoosiers Conclude Play in Briar’s Creek Invitational

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – Indiana women's golf wrapped up the Briar's Creek Invitational on Tuesday, finishing up Monday's suspended second round before competing in the final round.

• With a few holes remaining on Monday, play was suspended due to darkness. The teams finished the second round and then went directly into the final round.
• After a tough round one, the Hoosiers improved by 21 strokes as a team in each of the last two rounds.
• Sophomore Valerie Clancy finished tied for 58th as she shot a 77 in the final round, following a 75 in the second round. Clancy had a birdie in both the second and third rounds.
• Parsons collected a pair of birdies in her final round as her 73 was an improvement of seven strokes from the previous round. She finished tied for 69th. Senior Angela Aung also tied for 69th place. Her second-round score of 72 was the best of the tournament for the Hoosiers. Aung had a trio of birdies in that round.
• Sophomore Hanna Tanaka carded her best round on Tuesday, shooting a 78 and collecting a birdie.
• Junior Maddie Dittoe carded a 91 on Tuesday in just her second team event.
