CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois came out on top 7-0 against the Indiana women's tennis team on Saturday at the Atkins Tennis Center.

Illinois (4-6) struck first with wins at No. 3 doubles (6-2) and at No. 1 doubles (7-5) to claim the doubles point.

Illinois won all first sets in singles, but senior Caitlin Bernard rebounded for a second set victory. Bernard narrowly lost a third set tiebreaker 10-8.

Up next the Hoosiers (1-9) take on No. 7 Northwestern in Evanston on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
