Indiana Drops Match at No. 7 Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. – The No. 7 Northwestern Wildcats defeated Indiana women's tennis 4-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Northwestern (14-2) won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to earn the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead in the match.

The Wildcats won matches at No. 2 singles, No. 4 singles and No. 6 singles to clinch the match.

For Indiana (1-10) at No. 1 singles senior Annabelle Andrinopoulos forced a first set tiebreaker before the match went unfinished due to Northwestern clinching the match.

The Hoosiers will return home for a pair of matches on March 27 and 28 against Rutgers and Maryland.
