Indiana Drops Match to Rutgers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind– The Indiana women's tennis team fell in a competitive contest, 4-3 to Rutgers on Saturday afternoon.

Rutgers opened the scoring with taking the doubles point.

Laura Masic (6-3, 6-3) and Michelle McKamey (6-4, 6-4) got the Hoosiers on the board with comfortable wins at No. 1 and No. 5 singles respectively.

Jelly Bozovic took a 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles but it wasn't enough to overcome Rutgers.

The Hoosiers finish off the weekend tomorrow morning when they host Maryland at 10:30 a.m. EST.
