
Final Round of Clemson Invitational Suspended Until Sunday Morning

SUNSET, S.C. – The final round of the Clemson Invitational was suspended on Saturday with between three and five holes to go due to inclement weather. The teams will return to The Reserve at Lake Keowee in the morning to finish the event. Senior Mary Parsons is currently tied for 19th place through 15.

CHIP-INS
• The field played the final nine holes of the second round on Saturday before going into the final round. Play was briefly paused after 12 holes and ultimately called a few holes later. Indiana has holes No. 2-4 to go.
• Parsons finished the second round with a 2-over-par 74, improving by one stroke from the first round. In the final round, she is shooting 2-under with three holes to go. Parsons has carded a trio of birdies in this round and has parred or birdied every hole but one. Overall, she is 3-over on the weekend.
• Sophomore Hanna Tanaka is tied for 75th place and picked up three birdies in the second round. In the final round, she is currently 4-over and birdied No. 15.
• Senior Angela Aung moved up a couple spots and is tied for 81st. She is on track to record her best round of the weekend as she is 3-over with three holes remaining.
• Sophomore Valerie Clancy has carded two birdies in the final round and was strongest on the back nine, where she was 2-over. She is currently tied for 85th.
• Junior Maddie Dittoe shot an 87 in the second round and is in 91st place.
• The field includes 11 teams ranked in the top-50 by Golfstat, including four in the top-25. The Big Ten is well represented this weekend with seven from the conference competing.
UP NEXT
The field will wrap up play tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. Kent State, the current leader, has the most holes remaining with five.
