BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – It was a windy day at Andy Mohr Field, Indiana Softball (7-9, 7-9 Big Ten) completed its series with No 25 Michigan (13-3, 13-3 Big Ten) on Sunday afternoon. Despite generating offense, the Hoosiers were unable to get the victory and was downed by the Wolverines, 4-0.
KEY MOMENTS
• The Wolverines led off the series finale with a homerun. Michigan put a runner on the base paths by way of a single with one out double play by the Hoosiers limited to damage to just one run.

• Aaliyah Andrews got the Indiana offense going with a walk in the second. Macy Montgomery hit a single to left field to put two Hoosiers on. Pinch hitting, Desiree Dufek was hit by a pitch and loaded the bases with two outs. Even though Indiana generated good offense they were unable to capitalize on it.
• The wind continued to be a problem for the Hoosiers pitching staff as the Wolverines added their third run from another solo home run to left.
• In the third, Grayson Radcliffe beat out a throw at first to get on base. Hannah Davis got the two out walk but couldn't get enough going to plate the runners.
• In the circle for the Hoosiers, Amber Linton retired the first batter she faced and Gabbi Jenkins caught two fly balls to end the top of the fourth.
• Andrews got on base for the second time of afternoon in the sixth with a single to the second baseman. The Hoosiers tried to deal some offense but came up short leaving Andrews stranded.
• Trying to mount the comeback in the seventh, Brooke Benson knocked a hit to outfield and a fielding error got her all the way to third base.
