EAST LANSING, Mich. – Despite a strong performance from Shannon McNally in goal, Indiana Field Hockey couldn't find any offense in a 2-0 loss to Michigan State Sunday afternoon.
KEY MOMENTS
• Michigan State opened the scoring with a goal inside the first ten minutes of action.
• Freshman Shannon McNally recorded back-to-back saves within five seconds of each other from a penalty corner to stop the offensive attack.
• The Spartans tacked on another goal late in the third period off a penalty corner to take a 2-0 in to the final 15 minutes.
• Indiana found its first shot of the game late in the fourth period from Mary Kate Kesler, but it went just wide of the net.
