UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Indiana Field Hockey wrapped its stint in University Park on Sunday afternoon against Penn State. The Hoosiers were downed by the Nittany Lions, 3-0.

KEY MOMENTS
• Anna Gwiazdzinski got the first shot for the Hoosiers as it hit the post in the second period.
• Penn State saw their first goal of the morning in the second period to take a 1-0 lead.
• Jes Givern was able to get a shot off before halftime but it soared high of the cage.
•. Coming out of the break, the Nittany Lions got a shot off that sunk into the back of net to take 2-0 lead.
• With the clock winding down in the third, Mary Kate Kelser fired a shot off that went wide of net.
• Trying to rally in the fourth, Kennedy Reardon framed a shot on target, but the Penn State goalkeeper was there for the save.
• The Nittany Lions added another insurance goal with eight minutes left. They would win the series finale, 3-0.

NOTABLES
• Anna Gwiazdzinski, Mary Kate Kesler, and Jes McGivern both got shots off for the Hoosiers.
