
No. 12 Indiana To Race In Highly Competitive Big Ten Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 12 Indiana will race for the first time in two weeks as it heads to the Big Ten Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Harsha Lake at East Fork State Park in Bethel, Ohio.

NOTES
- The Hoosiers will send four boats to this weekend's inaugural Big Ten Invitational. They are back in action after a two-week layoff after competing at Ohio State on March 27.
- The race will take place on Harsha Lake on its 2,000 meter course with seven lanes and a new start dock.
- The Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8 and First Varsity 4 will square off against Virginia, Ohio State and Syracuse in the Saturday morning session as the First Novice 8 will take on Michigan State, Syracuse and Iowa. In the Saturday afternoon session, the varsity squads will face Louisville, Minnesota and Duke while the novice take on Minnesota, Duke and Iowa.
- All three varsity boats close out competition against Washington State, Syracuse and Rutgers while the novice will go against Virginia, Wisconsin, Alabama and Iowa.
- Indiana is one of 11 ranked teams in the field this weekend out of 16 teams competition. The Big Ten will be joined by eight other non-conference foes at the regatta.
- Participating teams: Alabama, No. 10 Duke, Indiana, No. 16 Iowa, Louisville, No. 6 Michigan, Michigan State, No. 17 Minnesota, Notre Dame, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 11 Rutgers, No. 20 Syracuse, No. 9 Tennessee, No. 4 Virginia, No. 18 Washington State, No. 15 Wisconsin.
- Indiana stayed put at No. 12 in the Division Pocock CRCA Coaches Poll presented by US Rowing this week.
