Clancy Leads the Way on Day Two of the Big Ten Championship

MAINEVILLE, Ohio – Indiana Women's Golf continued play in the 2021 Big Ten Championship on Saturday with round two at TPC River's Bend. Sophomore Valerie Clancy carded a 2-under-par 70 to lead the Hoosiers.

• The Hoosiers started play on the No. 10 tee.
• As a team, Indiana improved by 19 strokes from Friday's first round.
• Clancy moved up 30 spots on the player leaderboard on Saturday and is now tied for 22nd at 3-over. Her 70 in the second round is the lowest for her this season and ties Mary Parsons as the lowest for any Hoosier in 2021. Clancy, who improved seven strokes from the opening round, carded four birdies on the day. She was especially impressive on the back nine, making the turn at 2-under.
• Freshman Morgan Dabagia moved up five spots, carding a 76 on Saturday. It was improvement of seven strokes from her first-round 83. She collected four birdies on the day.
• Parsons carded an 85 and is in 73rd place. She was 4-over at the turn before running into some trouble on the front nine.
• Senior Angela Aung and sophomore Hanna Tanaka are tied for 74th place. Aung carded a 78, a six-stroke improvement from yesterday. Tanaka cut an impressive eight-strokes off her Friday score, shooting a 77 on Saturday.
• Junior Maddie Dittoe carded an 85 in the second round as in 77th place.
