All Gas, No Brakes On Final Day Of B1G Indiana Invite #4/Billy Hayes Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – It was a day full of personal bests for Indiana Track & Field as they completed the final day of the B1G Indiana Invite No. 4/Billy Hayes Invite.
Khayla Dawson threw down a mark of 18.91m (62' 5") in the shot put to capture gold. Her mark was a personal and facility record while also being the No. 2 mark in the U.S. and No. 6 in the world. Dawson is also now the Big Ten record holder in the event and was the No. 6 all-time mark in the NCAA. She returned in the discus where Dawson notched a distance of 54.25m () to finish in third.
Nolan Landis set a personal record in the discus with a throw of 53.17m (174' 5.25"). Landis took fourth overall.
Leah Moran and Paola Fernandez-Sola got the personal bests started in the long jump. Moran won the event with a personal record of 6.41m (21' 5") while Fernandez-Sola garnered silver with a mark of 6.24m (20' 5.75"). Moran also captured gold and a PR in the triple jump after jumping a mark of 13.24m (43' 5.25"). On the men's side, Treyton Harris won by soaring a mark of 7.84m (25' 8.5").
Anna Watson and Nathan Stone swept the pole vault for the Hoosiers on Saturday afternoon. Watson cleared a personal best 4.31m (14' 1.75") while Stone joined the 18 foot club with a height of 5.50m (18' .5").
Rikkoi Brathwaite advanced to the final of the 100m with personal record time of 10.27. He then went on to win the final in a time of 10.28, just .01 seconds shy of his record.
Shaton Vaughn recorded a personal best in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.01.
Kelly Mindak was next to set a personal best as she clocked a time of 2:05.06 in the 800m to get the victory. Joely Pinkston picked up bronze with a time of 2:07.42. On the men's side, Parker Raymond and Nick Couyoumjian set personal bests while placing fourth and eighth, respectively. Raymond crossed in a time of 1:49.07 and Couyoumjian notched a time of 1:50.00.
Alyssa Robinson improved in the 200m with a time of 23.09. She also took the victory.
Three Hoosiers set personal records in the women's 1500m. Hannah Stoffel took silver in a time of 4:17.49 while Jenna Barker clocked a time of 4:22.45 to place sixth. Maddie Dalton crossed seventh with a time of 4:22.59.
Up next, the Hoosiers will embark on their postseason journey beginning with the 2021 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Championships are slated to begin on May 14 and wrap up on May 16.
