Indiana Finishes Fall Slate at The Williams Cup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's golf team will close out the six-tournament fall slate at The Williams Cup Presented by STITCH Golf beginning on Oct. 21 at the Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, N.C.

• Two teams, No. 8 North Carolina and No. 37 Louisville, rank inside the top-50 of the latest GolfStat poll (Oct. 19). Indiana ranks No. 56 in the poll.
• The tournament honors Hall of Fame Tar Heel men's basketball coach Roy Williams and his wife, Wanda.
• The individual medalist will receive exemption into the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour event in Raleigh, N.C.
• The Hoosiers finished eighth at this event in the fall of 2021. Noah Gillard paced Indiana with a t-26th finish after shooting a 221 (75-72-74; +5).
• Eagle Point opened in 2000. The Tom Fazio-designed course is a nearly 7,300-yard trek through live oaks, sabal palms and the coastal waters of Wilmington. Golf Digest ranks Eagle Point one of America's Top 100 courses. In 2017, Brian Harman won the PGA Tour's Wells Fargo Championship at Eagle Point.
