Hoosiers Finish First Round of Williams Cup

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Indiana men's golf team is in ninth place after 18 holes of golf at The Williams Cup on Friday. As a team, the Hoosiers shot a 16-over 304 at the Eagle Point Golf Club.
Tournament host and No. 8 North Carolina lead the tournament after a first-round of 287 (-1). No. 37-ranked Louisville is second in the team standings at 293 (+5), while NC State has shot a 294 (+6) to place third.

• Fifth-year senior Mitch Davis and senior Noah Gillard both secured one birdie in their rounds of 78 (+6).
