Windy Conditions Challenge Hoosiers at the Nexus Collegiate

NEW PROVIDENCE, Bahamas – The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team once again battled strong winds and remain in seventh (638; +62) in the team standings after 36 holes at the Nexus Collegiate hosted by Auburn at the Albany Golf Club on Tuesday.

• Sophomore Drew Salyers played one birdie on his way to a 5-over 77 in the second round. His two-round score of 157 (+13) ranks first among Hoosier golfers in the lineup.
• Junior Noah Gillard converted back-to-back birdies on No. 13 and 14 on day two in the Bahamas before carding a 9-over 81.
• Senior Mitch Davis struggled out of the gate on the front nine but was able to steady the round with 11 pars over his final 14 holes played. He finished the day with a 10-over 82.
• Sophomore Clay Merchent turned in a 12-over 84 in the second round. He converted a birdie on No. 17. Fifth-year senior Ethan Shepherd finished the round with a score of 13-over 85 with a birdie on No. 15.
• Playing as an individual, senior Harry Reynolds shot a 17-over 89 after a promising first round of 77. He holed out Indiana's lone eagle of the tournament on No. 14 and immediately followed with a birdie on No. 15.
