NEW PROVIDENCE, Bahamas – The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team finished seventh (946; +82) in the team standings after three days of windy conditions at the Nexus Collegiate hosted by Auburn at the Albany Golf Club on Wednesday.

CHIP-INS
• Sophomore Clay Merchent turned in the best Hoosier round of the week with a 1-over 73. His consistent round of play included a team-high 13 pars to go along with birdies on No. 9 and 15. He finished the tournament with a 19-over 235 (78-84-73) to tie for 19th-place.

• Senior Mitch Davis converted a pair of eagle opportunities on No. 3 and No. 15 on his way to a 2-over 74, his best round of the week. He finished tied with Merchent for the top Hoosier slot in the lineup after shooting a 235 (79-82-74, +19) for the week.

• Sophomore Drew Salyers played an 8-over 80 on the final round to finish t-23rd overall with a three-round tally of 237 (80-77-80, +21).

• Fifth-year senior Ethan Shepherd closed the tournament with a third-round score of 81 (+9). He shot a 248 (82-85-81, +32) during the week to tie for 43rd.

• Junior Noah Gillard tallied a 12-over 84 in the final round with a birdie putt on No. 14, the second hole of his day. He concluded the week with a 242 (77-81-84, +26) to place 34th.

• Playing as an individual, senior Harry Reynolds carded his second round of 77 (+5) for the week to finish 38th at 243 (77-89-77, +27). He was fifth among individual players after knocking in birdies on No. 11 and 15.

UP NEXT
The Hoosiers will be off for the remainder of the month before returning to the golf course for the Colleton River Collegiate hosted by Michigan State in Bluffton, S.C. The event will be contested from March 7-8 at the Colleton River Golf Club.

Indiana will also play in the Boilermaker Invitational (April 9-10) and the Kepler Intercollegiate (April 23-24) before competing in the Big Ten Championships from April 29-May 1 at The Dye Course at French Lick.
