BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team will continue their season by hosting Yale and Princeton this weekend at the IU Tennis Center.

LAST TIME OUT
The Hoosiers were off last weekend, but during their opening weekend of competition they hosted a doubleheader against Toledo and Bellarmine. The Hoosiers beat Toledo 6-1 and were victorious over Bellarmine, 7-0.
THE CAPTAINS
The Hoosiers captains for the 2022 season are seniors Patrick Fletchall, Carson Haskins and Mac Rogers.
Fletchall has won 23-career singles matches in his three seasons in Bloomington while also appearing at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles in the Hoosier lineup. The Carmel-native was also an Academic All-Big Ten honoree during the 2020-2021 season.
Haskins is among the most seasoned veterans returning to the IU team. He's notched 38-career singles victories and has spent time at most spots throughout the lineup. Like Fletchall, Haskins was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree last season.
Rogers is a Bloomington native and was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree during the 2020-2021 campaign.
GETTING IT DONE
Ilya Tiraspolsky is expected to be a crucial part of the Hoosiers lineup this season. As a freshman he played at No. 5 and No. 6 singles and finished the season with a 6-4 record. As a sophomore this season he posted a 8-4 record in fall singles matches. Tiraspolsky added singles wins against both Toledo and Bellarmine, playing at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
Senior Vikash Singh had a productive fall season as he recorded a record of 7-5 in singles competition.
In doubles Carson Haskins and Luka Vukovic won the doubles draw at the Louisville Invitational in the fall and have a 4-1 overall record. Sophomores Michael Andre and Ilya Tiraspolsky also won their flights at the Louisville Invitational.
