Indiana Women’s Tennis Narrowly Falls to Nebraska

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Three Hoosiers picked up individual wins for Indiana, but the team fell just short to Nebraska, dropping the overall match, 4-3, on Sunday.

After splitting the wins between No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, Nebraska finished out on No. 1 doubles, winning 7-5, to take the doubles point.

Indiana's Lara Schneider, Mila Mejic, and Rose Hu each earned victories. Schneider and Mejic went to a third set to claim their wins at No. 1 and No. 4 singles, respectively. Hu won at No. 5 singles in just two sets, 6-3, 6-4.

Up next, Indiana will host rival Purdue on Saturday, April 2.
