BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana softball team blew open the game with a six run fourth inning to earn their third straight win over Rutgers with an 11-6 victory on Sunday at Andy Mohr Field.

Key Moments
• In the first inning Cora Bassett walked and Taylor Minnick doubled to score Bassett and give the Hoosiers a 1-0 lead.
• Rutgers scored a run in the second and two in the third to take a 3-1 lead.
• In the third inning Bassett hit a solo home run to cut the Rutgers lead to 3-2.
• Benson doubled to right field and scored two runs as part of the Hoosiers six run fourth inning.
• In the top half of the sixth inning Rutgers scored three runs to close the Hoosiers lead to 8-6.
• Indiana responded in the bottom half of the sixth. With two outs Grayson Radcliffe doubled to left center and brought in two runs. Brittany Ford doubled to score Radcliffe and put the Hoosiers up 11-6.

Notes
• The Hoosiers improved to 22-10 overall and 5-4 in the Big Ten.
• The home run by Bassett is her 11^th of the season.
• The Hoosiers had their entire lineup bat in the fourth inning.
• Indiana scored three runs with two outs and have now scored 63 runs this season with two outs.
• Taylor Minnick hit .667 for the series with a 1.500 slugging percentage and .818 on base percentage.
• Cora Bassett hit .667 for the series as she scored seven runs, collected four hits and five walks.
• Indiana catcher Lindsey Warick threw out three Rutgers baserunners trying to steal in the game. Warick had now thrown out nine runners this season.
• Indiana tallied nine hits in the game.
