Baseball Gameday: at Miami (Ohio) & Cincinnati

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana baseball program will begin a busy week with a pair of midweek tests on the road. The Hoosiers will travel to Miami (Ohio) for a Tuesday (April 19) contest and return to the Queen City for a Wednesday (April 20) matchup at Cincinnati.

Indiana (13-21) has already met each team on the diamond this season, defeating the RedHawks (14-21) and Bearcats (16-18) in back-to-back weeks in early March. The Hoosiers are coming off of a weekend series at Rutgers that featured a trio of loss by a combined four runs, while Miami (Ohio) split a four-game series at Western Michigan and Cincinnati swept three games at Wichita State.

Indiana will travel to the Greater Cincinnati Area for back-to-back midweek contests with Miami (Ohio) and Cincinnati. It will be the second meeting of the season with both programs, as IU won each of the first two at home.

Miami (Ohio)

Miami (Ohio) enters with a 14-21 overall record and 10-13 mark in the Mid-American Conference.
The RedHawks are hitting .282 as a team with a near .380 on-base percentage but have 330 strikeouts (9.4 kpg).
