PITTSBURGH – The Indiana women's golf team is 14th at the 2022 Big Ten Women's Championship after 18 holes at the Fox Chapel Golf Course. The Hoosiers shot a 29-over 313 in the first round on Friday.

• Freshman Áine Donegan led the Hoosiers with a 77 (+6) during the opening round of play. She converted a birdie attempt on No. 7.
• Freshman Margaret Fernandez made a team-best two birdie attempts on the day. She turned in her scorecard at 7-over 78.
• Fifth-year senior Mary Parsons converted one birdie attempt (No. 2) on her way to a first-round score of 79 (+8).
• Freshman Beatriz Junqueira knocked down a birdie putt on No. 4 to finish the day at an 8-over 79.
• Junior Valerie Clancy wrapped up day one at 9-over 80.
• Senior Alexis Miestowski secured her lone birdie of the round on No. 5 and finished the first 18 holes at 10-over 81.
