BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - After a season-opening come-from-behind victory over Illinois, the Indiana football program will play its second home straight home game to start the season when it hosts Idaho at 8 p.m. inside Memorial Stadium on Big Ten Network.

Setting The Scene
• Indiana (1-0, 1-0 B1G) will host Idaho (0-1) for its first non-conference contest of the season on Saturday, Sept. 10. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. inside Memorial Stadium (55,656; Field Turf) on the Big Ten Network.
• Head coach Tom Allen is 12-1 all-time against non-conference opponents during the regular season, including a win over Idaho in the only meeting with the Vandals in program history (W, 56-14; 2021).
• For just the 30th time in program history and fifth time since 2000, Indiana will play its first two games of a season at home. In the previous 29 happenings, IU has started 2-0 on 18 occasions.

• Saturday's meeting with Idaho will mark the 50th non-conference home game since the start of the 2000 season and Indiana is 36-13 in those contests. Allen is 7-1 all-time in home non-conference home games, with 2-0 marks in three of his previous five years.
• Indiana will celebrate its 1968 Rose Bowl team on Saturday night. The 1967 Hoosiers went 9-2 overall and 6-1 in Big Ten play to finish No. 4 in the final national rankings after a narrow, 14-3, loss to No. 1 USC in the Granddaddy of the All.

• Five team captains were announced by head coach Tom Allen prior to the season opener with four first-time captains in tight end AJ Barner, safety Devon Matthews, cornerback Tiawan Mullen and quarterback Jack Tuttle. Linebacker Cam Jones was selected team captain for the third time in his career, which joins just two other names in program history.

• IU opened a season with a Big Ten foe for the fourth time in Allen's six campaigns and third straight season. Allen is 2-2 in those contests with wins over Illinois (2022) and Penn State (2020). He has also faced No. 2 Ohio State (2017) and No. 17 Iowa (2021).
• Allen is on pace to join a select group of coaches in Indiana history, as he is on pace to reach the 30-win mark at the school.
