BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Following a second-consecutive two-win weekend, the Indiana Volleyball team will take a 4-2 record on the road as the Hoosiers head to Raleigh for a three-game set of matches.
IU is set to play in the NC State Classic with games against TCU, Western Carolina and NC State on the docket in North Carolina.
The Hoosiers own four straight-set victories this season and are slowly returning key pieces of the roster back to the rotation.
This weekend's matches will take place on Thursday (NC State and Western Carolina) and Friday (TCU) inside Reynolds Coliseum.
Breaking Down the Hoosiers
Junior outside hitter Morgan Geddes made her return to the IU lineup this past weekend, providing a huge boost to the offensive rotation.
She provided 19 kills on the weekend to pair with sophomore outside hitter Mady Saris' 37 kills during IU's 2-1 weekend.
Saris has now recorded 10-plus kills in four-consecutive matches and five on the season. She has 18 double-dight kill matches for her young career.
Sophomore setter Camryn Haworth once again proved her versatility for the Hoosiers, recording 81 assists and 15 kills while playing every single set over the weekend.
Freshman outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles has started every match for IU. She's tallied five kills in four different matches this season.
Middle blockers Savannah Kjolhede and Kaley Rammelsberg have combined for 31 blocks over the course of the season while starting every match.
Senior libero Paula Cerame has started every match this year and has 66 digs and 27 assists to her name so far.
A perfect weekend in Raleigh would push IU's record to 7-2 on the campaign.
The last time IU started 7-2 in a season was in 2019 when Steve Aird's bunch went on to finish the non-conference slate at 11-2.
