No. 18 Indiana Drops Road Dual at No. 24 Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. –––– No. 24 Michigan State defeated No. 18 Indiana, 20-16, on Friday night at Jenison Fieldhouse.
The loss drops Indiana to 7-4 on the season and 3-4 in the Big Ten.
Indiana and Michigan State split the match, each team picking up wins at five bouts.
The Hoosiers won three of the first four bouts to take a 10-3 lead. From there, Michigan State stormed back and won four of the last six, including a handful of bonus point victories to edge out the Hoosiers.
KEY MOMENTS
• No. 29-ranked freshman Henry Porter (133) picked up arguably his best win of the season, defeating No. 17 Rayvon Foley by decision, 10-5.
• Indiana senior Cayden Rooks (141) found his rhythm again with a dominant 12-5 win by decision over Michigan State's Jordan Hamdan.
• It was a methodical bout at 149 where redshirt senior Graham Rooks picked his spot and a handful of takedowns in a major decision win over Peyton Omania, 13-4.
• Redshirt junior Donnell Washington (174) won a defensive battle over Ceasar Garza in a 4-0 decision.
• Senior Jacob Bullock (285) picked up a late reversal in the closing seconds of the third period to earn a 3-1 win over Ryan Vasbinder.
