Indiana Women’s Tennis Sweeps Western Michigan, 4-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's tennis (7-3) defeated the Western Michigan Broncos, 4-0, at the IU Tennis Center on Saturday morning.
The Hoosiers went on to win the doubles point with wins in the No. 1 and No. 3. matches. Sophomore Lara Schneider and graduate Saby Nihalani won the No. 1 doubles match 6-0.
No. 3 doubles, redshirt-junior duo Rose Hu and Alexandra Staiculescu clinched the doubles point for the Hoosiers with a 6-3 win.
In the singles round, the Hoosiers swept the Broncos, with wins on No. 3, 4, and 5. Staiculescu won on No. 3, 6-1, 6-1. Freshman Nicole Teodosescu gave the Hoosiers their third point, with a win on No. 5, 6-3, 6-2.
Mejic would clinch the last point after a win in the No. 4 singles spot, 6-1, 7-6 (7-1)
