Hoosiers to Play the Fighting Illini Collegiate

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf program closes the 2022-23 regular season at the inaugural Fighting Illini Collegiate hosted by Illinois from April 22-23. The nine-team event will be played at the Atkins Golf Course in Urbana, Ill.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Tournament hosts Illinois (No. 3) rank as the best team in the field in the latest GolfStat poll (April 16). Northwestern (No. 32) and Michigan State (No. 61) are the only other teams in the field to rank ahead of the Hoosiers. Indiana sits at No. 66 in the poll.
• Illinois also boasts the top two individual players in the tournament in sixth-ranked Adrien Dumont de Chassa and 12th-ranked Tommy Kuhl, per GolfStat. Indiana junior Drew Salyers (29) and senior Mitch Davis (205) both crack the top-250 players nationally.
• Indiana will be paired with Chattanooga and Illinois State for the first two rounds of action. The first of two rounds with continuous play will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET. The final round will begin at 9 a.m. ET on April 23.
• Postseason play will begin for the Hoosiers following the Fighting Illini Collegiate with the 2023 Big Ten Men's Golf Championship from April 28-29 at the Galloway National Golf Course in New Jersey.
