No. 16 IU Captures Sixth Straight Dale England Cup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 16-ranked Indiana rowing won six of seven races Saturday (April 29) morning to win the Dale England Cup for a sixth straight year at its home facility, the Dale England Rowing Center, on Lake Lemon.
NOTES
Prior to racing, head coach Steve Peterson and IU rowing dedicated a new racing four-oared shell after alumnus Sophia Wickersham, a four-year rower from 2016-19.

NOTES
- Of the 14 times in has been contested, Indiana has won seven Dale England Cup trophies.
- The Big Ten Boat of the Week, Indiana's Varsity Eight, clinched the cup in a time of 6:33.3, 8.1 seconds faster than Notre Dame.
- Eight seniors raced for the final time at Lake Lemon: Sophie Carmosino, Laura Feinson, Rachael Galet, Erin Heapy, Nicole Killeen, Libby Krueger, Ruby Leverington and Olivia Seifert.
- IU's Third Varsity Four had the largest margin of victory, winning by 21.9 seconds.
- IU won all but the first event, the 2N8/4V8 event, in which they finished 1.1 seconds behind.
