BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana cross country will head to Chicago for the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational at the Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course on Friday morning, hosted by Loyola Chicago.

Participating Teams
Women
The women will race against 23 schools in the Tom Cooney 6k Championship facing top opponents in No. 25 Ole Miss as well as Furman and Lipscomb who are receiving votes.
The Hoosiers will also race against conference opponents in No.17 Wisconsin, No. 30 Ohio State and Northwestern.
Senior Phoebe Bates leads the women's squad with the team's top-finishes, setting back-to-back personal bests in the Redhawk Rumble and the John McNichols Invitational at Indiana State. Sophomore Claire Overfelt finished the 5k race in fifth place with teammate Tori Schmidt (15th) and Grace Tyson (20th) finishing in the top-20.
Men
The men's squad will race against 17 universities including No. 4 Wisconsin, No. 20 Tulsa, No. 23 Ole Miss and No. 30 Michigan.
Others include DePaul, Drake, Furman, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Lipscomb, Loyola, Ohio, Toledo and two additional conference opponents in Northwestern and Ohio State.
Junior Camden Marshall will make his season debut while classmate transfer Martin Segurola will make his first appearance with the Hoosiers. Segurola will race in the men's gold division alongside sophomore Garrett Hicks.
Marshall will join nine others in the Tom Cooney 8k Championship race.
In their last meet, Eckman, Stidman, Forsythe, Raymond and Satterfield earned personal bests in the 8k. Haskett led the squad with a second-place finish with Stidman (third) and Eckman (seventh) rounding out the top-10.
