Indiana defeats Wisconsin on Senior Day, 5-2

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Senior Day was a success for Indiana as they took down Wisconsin, 5-2, at the IU Outdoor Courts on Sunday.
Indiana would enter doubles play with an advantage, as Wisconsin would forfeit on No. 3 doubles. Sam Landau and Carson Haskins would capitalize on the advantage, winning at No. 2 doubles, 6-2, to secure the lead heading into singles play.
Indiana would once again come into singles play with an advantage, as Wisconsin forfeit No. 6 singles. Wins from Facundo Yunis and Sam Landau at No. 1 and 2 singles would secure the match win for the Hoosiers.
Senior Jagger Saylor would also earn himself a win at No. 3 singles, 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.
With the win, Indiana moves to 15-9 on the season and 3-4 in conference play.
The Hoosiers will be back on the road next Friday for a 6 p.m. match against Northwestern.
