MATCH CENTRAL: Indiana at No. 16 Michigan State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer looks to play their final road match of the season when they travel to East Lansing, Mich. to face No. 16 Michigan State. The match is set for Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7 pm. The Hoosiers enter a tough final stretch to the season that starts with a ranked foe on the road.

Michigan State is coming into the match having won four of their last six games. This includes wins over USC, Minnesota, No. 20 Wisconsin, and Michigan.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hoosiers started their trip to Michigan with a 2-2 draw in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Sunday.
In her first career start, junior midfielder Paige Droner scored her first career goal to put Indiana up early in the 14th minute. Sophomore midfielder Maggie Ledwith was credited with the assist on the goal.
Michigan had two shot opportunities mid-way through the first half, but both were blocked by senior midfielder Marisa Grzesiak to keep the Hoosiers up 1-0 going into halftime.
The cream and crimson continued to add pressure. It didn't take long for Ledwith to score her second goal in two games to put Indiana up 2-0.
Michigan would find the back of the net in the 61st minute and again in the 83rd minute to tie the game late at 2-2.
QUICK STATS
The Hoosiers have nine goal scorers on the season. Grace Hamm and Maggie Ledwith lead the Hoosiers with four goals each. Aleyna Quinn, Sarah Sirdah, and Abbey Iler all follow with two goals apiece. Haden Vlcek, Jenna Chatterton, Olivia Rush, and Paige Droner have also scored for Indiana.
Ledwith leads the team in points with 13, followed by Hamm with nine. Sirdah ranks third with five points, while Quinn and Iler have four points. Olivia Rush follows with three points, while Olivia Smith, Jenna Chatterton, Vlcek, and Droner have tallied two points this season. Marisa Grzesiak, Kennedy Neighbors, Natasha Kim, Ella Stanley, and Olivia Albert also have one point apiece.
Indiana has taken 173 shots from 18 different players on the season. Ledwith leads the way with 29, followed by Grzesiak and Neighbors with 23 and 20, respectively. Hamm and Sirdah have also taken double figure shot attempts with 15 each. Kim follows with 11 shots, while Quinn and Vlcek have tallied 10 shots apiece for the Hoosiers.
Five Hoosiers have recorded over 1,000 minutes played this season. The Trio of Olivias (Albert, Rush, Smith) along with Haden Vlcek and Neighbors have all hit the 1,000 minute mark this season. Ledwith and Josie Pratl have also crossed the 900 minute mark as well.
In goal, Sally Rainey and Dani Jacobson have combined for four shutouts and 55 saves on the season. Jacobson also has an additional solo shutout against Ball State.
Rainey has three games this season recording at least five saves. She has totaled 33 saves on the year.
IU is shooting 100% on their penalty kicks. Sirdah and Hamm have each of Indiana's two attempts.
