BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis took care of business tonight, defeating Drake 7-0 on Friday afternoon at the IU Tennis Center.

Once again, Indiana would open the day strong and take the doubles point. Braeden Gelletich & Karan Raghavendra would take the win at No. 3 doubles to put IU in a position to secure the doubles point. Matteo Antonescu & Sam Scherer would follow up with a win at no. 2 doubles to secure the lead for Indiana heading into singles play.

In singles play, Jip van Assendelft would stretch the Hoosiers' lead with a win at No. 2 singles, 6-1. 6-4. Braeden Gelletich positioned Indiana to clinch the match at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-2.

Ben Pomeranets would clinch the match victory with his win at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-3.

Deacon Thomas, Nikola Kolyachev, and Karan Raghavendra also earned wins to cap off the 7-0 victory.

With the win, Indiana moves to 7-0 on the season.

Indiana will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 15, when the Hoosiers take on Louisville. The match will begin at 4 p.m.
