No. 17 Rowing Hosts 16th Annual Dale England Cup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 17-ranked Indiana will host Michigan State and Notre Dame Saturday (April 25) at the Dale England Rowing Center on Lake Lemon in the 16th annual racing of the Dale England Cup.
Racing is slated to begin at 9 a.m. ET. Admission is free, and fans can follow results here, as well as the @IndianaRowing X account.
Indiana has won the Dale England Cup trophy eight times, including east of the last seven. The Hoosiers swept six races in 2024 to capture the trophy again.
Indiana will honor its senior rowers following the trophy ceremony at approximately 11 a.m. ET.

Friday Morning
9 a.m. – 2N8 (vs. Michigan State, Notre Dame)
9:15 a.m. – N8 (vs. Michigan State, Notre Dame)
9:30 a.m. – 3V4 (vs. Michigan State, Notre Dame)
9:45 a.m. – 2V4 (vs. Michigan State, Notre Dame)
10 a.m. – V4 (vs. Michigan State, Notre Dame)
10:15 a.m. – 2V8 (vs. Michigan State, Notre Dame)
10:30 a.m. – V8 (vs. Michigan State, Notre Dame)
11 a.m. – Trophy presentation and senior ceremony
SCORING SYSTEM
For each race in the following events, a crew earns the following points for their team:
Varsity 8 – 18 points for the winning crew, 9 points for 2nd
Second Varsity 8 – 12 points for winning crew, 6 points for 2nd
Varsity 4 – 6 points for winning crew, 3 points for 2nd
Tiebreaker - The higher placing crew in V8 event shall serve
as the tiebreaker between two teams if the team totals are equal
The team that earns the most overall total points wins the Dale England Cup Trophy
