2017-18 (JUNIOR): Won four singles matches in dual play... played in 29 doubles matches... won nine doubles matches in spring, had a 5-3 record in the Big Ten.
2016-17 (SOPHOMORE): Was strong in doubles play, winning nine matches, six of them in dual play... won six singles matches and went 1-1 in the five singles spot during dual play.
2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Finished with an overall record of 7-14 in singles play for the 2015-16 season as a regular member of the Hoosiers lineup…teamed with Raheel Manji at No. 3 doubles to go 10-8 overall and 4-4 in Big Ten play.
PREP: Went to Boca Prep International School...grew up in Cascais, Portugal...played soccer in addition to tennis and also plays piano.
PERSONAL: Born May 8, 1997...Son of Anabela and Carlos Salgado...siblings Carlos Salgado, Vanessa Salgado, Maria Salgado, Francisca Salgado.
