PIN KING

Redshirt senior Taylor Walsh is continuing his impressive pinning ways. After leading the country last season and setting an Indiana single-season school record with 26 pins, Walsh has 21 pins this season. With 21 pins, Walsh has the second most in a Hoosier season and is currently the Division I leader. He only trails himself - 26 (2014) for most in a Hoosier season.
Walsh now has 124 career wins. This moved the 165-pounder into a tie for fifth place on the all-time Indiana wins list, tied with current Indiana assistant coach Matt Powless.
This season Walsh became Indiana's all-time pin leader. At the end of the 2013-14 season, Walsh was tied with Viktor Sveda (1999-2002) with 47 pins. In his first bout of this season, Walsh captured the record and is only expanding his lead in the record books. Currently he has 68 pins in his career.
