HOOSIERS HAVE SOLID SHOWING AT CLEMSON INVITATIONAL
Last weekend, the Indiana rowing team traveled to Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C., for one of the largest collegiate regattas in the country. They joined 19 other programs there for two days of high-level racing and came away in solid shape.
The 1V8 opened with a third place finish against No. 3 Virginia and No. 14 Washington State in the first heat and then came back in the afternoon and finished first in their heat, edging out UCLA and Radcliffe. The third session of racing the following day pitted IU against No. 8 Texas and it was the Longhorns that earned the win in the heat with IU finishing second.

In the 2V8 race, IU once again crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 6:56.2 while Iowa was second, just two seconds back, and Louisville was three seconds back.
