IU Embarks on ITA Regionals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team will test its skills against the best the Ohio Valley Region has to offer in the 2018 ITA DI Ohio Valley Men's Regional Championships in Knoxville, Tenn. The tournament will run from Thursday, Oct. 11-Monday, Oct. 15.

Both singles and doubles will be on display as 20 other teams, including Austin Peay, Ball State, Belmont, Butler, Chattanooga, Dayton, ETSU, IUPUI, Kentucky, Lipscomb, Louisville, Memphis, MTSU, Northern Kentucky, Purdue, Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, Vanderbilt, Wright State, Xavier, will take part.

In the event, the Hoosiers have Antonio Cembellin (3), Bennett Crane (16), Zac Brodney (19), Carson Haskins (23) ranked in singles and Haskins is No. 16 in the doubles field.

Last year, the Hoosiers accumulated 20 wins at the tournament, highlighted by Antonio Cembellin reaching the singles quarterfinals and Brandon Lam making it to the consolation finals.
