
No. 4 Hoosiers Host Maryland on Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 4-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will host Big Ten rival Maryland on Friday, Oct. 12 in Bloomington, Ind. at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
The match is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. ET start and will be streamed live on BTN Plus. Live stats for the match can be found at IUHoosiers.com.
Fans planning on attending the match on Friday should arrive early, as the first 500 in attendance will receive an Indiana Soccer 8-Star hat.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Hoosiers enter the match coming off a 1-0 win at No. 14 Michigan last Sunday. Rece Buckmaster scored the match-winner for IU, while Trey Muse notched his fifth solo shutout of the season.
• Indiana is looking to improve to 5-0 in Big Ten play for the first time since 2002. IU was last unbeaten in the team's first five league matches in 2003, when they went 4-0-1.
• Andrew Gutman leads the Hoosiers with six goals, while Trevor Swartz has recorded a team-best eight assists on the year.
