
Indiana Hosts Wisconsin, Minnesota for Senior Weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Soccer (6-4-2, 2-3-0 Big Ten) returns home for the first time since Sept. 16 to host Wisconsin (8-2-3, 2-1-3 Big Ten) and Minnesota (7-5-1, 3-2-1 Big Ten) this weekend. Admission to all home games is free of charge and both games will be streamed on BTN Plus.
PROMOTIONS
• Friday's match against Wisconsin will be the Think Pink Game, with pink Indiana t-shirts being given to the first 200 fans.
• On Sunday, the Hoosiers will pay tribute to the 2018 senior class of Abby Allen, Mykayla Brown, Claudia Day, Caroline Dreher, Annelie Leitner, Justine Lynn, Maya Piper and Alex Reibel with a pre-game ceremony.
SCOUTING WISCONSIN
• The Badgers received 26 votes in this weekend's United Soccer Coaches Poll and sit tied for fifth in the conference standings. Wisconsin's lone Big Ten loss came against Michigan, while the only non-conference setback was an Aug. 23 loss to Florida State. Last weekend, the Badgers had scoreless draws at home with both Rutgers and Maryland. Wisconsin is led in scoring by four goals from Lauren Rice. Dani Rhodes and Cameron Murtha have each scored twice. In goal, Jordyn Bloomer has played every minute with 37 saves and a 0.70 goals against average.
• Wisconsin leads the all-time series, 14-10-3 with last year's meeting in Madison resulting a scoreless draw. In 2016, the Hoosiers defeated the Badgers in Bloomington, 3-2.
SCOUTING MINNESOTA
• Minnesota is tied for third in the Big Ten with victories against Northwestern, Michigan and Maryland. Last weekend, the Golden Gophers defeated the Terrapins Friday before falling to Rutgers in double overtime on Sunday, 2-1. April Bockin leads the Minnesota attack with four goals and four assists, while Molly Fiedler has been dangerous with two goals and four assists. Goalkeeper Maddie Nielsen has a 0.82 goals against average with 39 saves.
• Minnesota leads the all-time series, 18-9-2, with the last IU victory coming in 2013. In 2017, the Golden Gophers came away with a 3-2 victory in St. Paul.
LAST TIME OUT
• Indiana fell to Purdue in double overtime on Saturday, 1-0. The Boilermakers converted a penalty kick in the 105th minute to win the game. It was just the second time this season IU has been shut out.

• Indiana has excelled at home this season, touting a 4-0-1 mark at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
• The Hoosier offense leads the Big Ten in numerous categories - including goals (26), points (83) and assists (31). Indiana also leads in goals per game (2.17) and assists per game (2.58).
• On a national level, Indiana is tied for sixth in the country in assists and ranks eighth in assists per game. In addition, the Hoosiers are tied for 34th in total goals scored and 18th in total points.
• Indiana's 26 goals scored is the most in a single season since also scoring 26 in the 2016 campaign. Prior to that, it is the most since the 2013 squad set a program record with 43 goals.
• IU has seen 10 different Hoosiers find the back of the net this season, while 14 have registered at least one point. Seven different players have scored two or more goals, while four have scored at least three times.
• Abby Allen, who is back in the lineup after missing the Purdue game on a red card, is leading the Hoosiers in scoring this season with seven goals and six assists, making her 20 points the most in the conference. Annelie Leitner is close behind Allen with four goals, including three game-winners, which is tied for first in the Big Ten and tied for 36th most in the nation.
• Goalkeeper Bethany Kopel's 64 saves leads the Big Ten. The sophomore already has 160 saves in her IU career, good for seventh all-time.
• The Hoosiers have gone to overtime five times this season, compiling a 1-2-2 record in those games.
• Indiana was recognized during Sept. 15's IU football game against Ball State for winning the Herbert Cup for the sixth time and second time in as many semesters. The award is given to the Indiana team with the highest team GPA for Spring 2018.
• Eight Hoosiers have seen their first career games in an Indiana uniform this season - graduate transfer Claudia Day, sophomores Maddie West, Nicolette Kapsalis, Camryn Carty and Ana Garibaldi and freshmen Maddie Essick, Madeline Carlson and Caitlin Arbuckle.

• Abby Allen - has played in 57 games with 28 starts. Has scored eight career goals and tallied eight assists, highlighted by her breakout senior campaign.
• Mykayla Brown - with 15 career goals, the redshirt senior ranks 10th all-time in IU program history. She has played in 70 games with 51 starts, including every game of the last two seasons.
• Claudia Day - transferred to Indiana for her graduate year and has started every game on IU's backline. She scored her first goal as a Hoosier in IU's victory against Michigan and earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week accolades on Sept. 18.
• Caroline Dreher - has played in 69 career games with 31 starts, including eight this season. Has scored twice this year and added a pair of assists. For her career, she's netted four goals with seven assists.
• Annelie Leitner - the redshirt senior has played in 69 games with 43 starts, including every game this year. She has scored nine goals with four assists, including career-high numbers this season with four goals and three assists. Three of her goals this year have been game-winners.
• Justine Lynn - has played in 59 games with 41 starts and has started every game of the 2018 season as outside back. A fixture on the backline, she has registered a pair of assists in her career.
• Maya Piper - has played in 70 games, with 47starts. The forward has scored 12 career goals with eight assists. Last year, she led the Hoosiers with seven goals and has scored twice in 2018 while adding a career-high five assists.
