East Lansing, Mich. – The Indiana volleyball team trailed 12-7 in the fifth set, but rallied to 14-13 as they ultimately fell 15-13 in the set and came up short at Michigan State, 3-2 (20-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-19, 13-15).

Key Moments
• With the Spartans, up 16-15 in the first set, Michigan State went on a 4-0 run to go up 20-16 and win the opening set, 25-20.
• Trailing 19-12 in the second set, the Hoosiers scored six straight points to get within one at 19-18.
• Kamryn Malloy delivered an ace for the Hoosiers on set point to win the second set, 25-23.
• Deyshia Lofton got a solo block to put Indiana up 20-17 in the fourth set. The Hoosiers would win set four, 25-19 and force a fifth and deciding set.
• At 5-5 in the fifth set, the Spartans scored three straight to go up 8-5 and led by as many as five at 12-7.
• A kill from Lexi Johnson brought the Hoosiers back to within one at 14-13, but an Indiana service error ended the match at 15-13 for Michigan State.
