TEAM
• Indiana leads the all-time series 5-2, including a 3-1 mark in Bloomington.
• IU has 24 takeaways this season – 13 fumbles and 11 interceptions – with the Hoosiers scoring 76 points off those takeaways.
• True freshman Madison Norris (special teams) became the 16th true freshman to appear in a game this season.
• Former Hoosier wide receiver Glenn Scolnik (1970-72) was inducted into the Indiana Athletics Hall of Fame last night. He served as today's honorary game captain.
• Senior safety Jonathan Crawford, fifth-year senior offensive lineman Wes Martin, senior defensive lineman Jacob Robinson and fifth-year senior wide receiver Luke Timian served as today's captains for the 10th time in as many games this season.
• Today was IU's "Salute to Service" in conjunction with Veterans Day.
OFFENSE
• Redshirt sophomore Peyton Ramsey went 16-for-28 for 243 yards and two touchdowns in the air. It is his sixth multi-TD passing game this season and sixth career three-TD game.
• Ramsey's 35-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the longest rush of his career. The rushing score was Ramsey's fourth of the season and the sixth of his career.
• Ramsey posted his fifth career game with at least one rushing and passing touchdown, with three coming this year.
• With 27 career passing touchdowns, Ramsey moved into a ninth-place tie with Dave Schnell (1986-89) on the IU career passing touchdowns list.
• With 17 passing touchdowns on the season, Ramsey moved into a seventh-place tie with Antwaan Randle El (1999) and Ben Chappell (2009) for most passing touchdowns in a season. The Ohio native also climbed into the top 10 for most passing attempts in a season (361).
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Nick Westbrook's 19-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter was his third this season and the 10th of his career. Westbrook closed out the day with 41 yards on three catches.
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Donavan Hale's 35-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter was the eighth of his career and his sixth of 2018. Hale finished the game with three receptions and a career-high 92 yards.
• True freshman running back Stevie Scott's 2-yard rushing TD in the second quarter was his eighth of the season – a record for rushing scores by an Indiana true freshman.
• Scott tallied 103 yards on 19 attempts (5.8 average) in the effort. It is his fourth 100 plus yard rushing day of the season, tying him with BenJarvus Green-Ellis (2003) for second-most as a true freshman in program history. Anthony Thompson holds the record with five (1996).
• Sitting at 894 yards on the season, Scott passed Thompson (806) for the third-most rushing yards for a true freshman.
• With the team's 21-point second quarter, IU scored 21-or-more points in two of their last three quarters (22 points vs. Minnesota in fourth quarter).
• Indiana's 90-yard scoring drive in the second quarter matched the team's longest of the season (Michigan State).
• Redshirt senior wide receiver Luke Timian finished with a team-high four receptions and 44 yards.
DEFENSE
• The Hoosiers had four takeaways in back-to-back games for the first time since the 1996 season, when IU accomplished the feat against Ohio State (11/16) and at Purdue (11/23).
• Saturday marked the fifth game this season for IU with at least three takeaways and marked the 11th since the start of the 2016 season, Tom Allen's first with the program.
• Indiana picked off one pass (11 in 2018) and recovered three fumbles (13 in 2018), for the second time in as many games, and scored 17 points off those takeaways.
• IU has at least one takeaway in each of its last 16 games (3rd nationally entering today) and an INT in nine contests in 2018.
• The Hoosiers posted the team's fifth game this season with at least one interception and one fumble recovery.
• Twelve defenders have forced a fumble, twelve have recovered a fumble and nine have an INT in 2018.
• In his first career start, sophomore linebacker T.D. Roof finished with a game- and career-high 10 tackles, including a career-best eight solo, along with a tackle for loss. The TFL is his fourth this season and the sixth of his career.
