Hoosiers Have Strong Showing in First Fall Tournament

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team began its 2018-19 season when it traveled to Boston for the Chowder Fest Tournament hosted by Harvard. The tournament consisted of three days of matches against players from Harvard, Old Dominion and Texas Tech.

Highlights
• Senior Antonio Cembellin, recently slotted at No. 66 in the ITA Rankings, won his singles flight title after a 3-0 weekend.
• Sophomore Brandon Lam and freshman Patrick Fletchall began the season by going 3-1 in doubles to finish as runner ups in their doubles flight.
• Fletchall and Carson Haskins competed in their first college tournaments.

A select group of Hoosiers will travel to Tulsa, Okla. for the pre-qualifying round of ITA All-American Championships. The ITA All-Americans will go until Oct. 8.
