
Three Set to Compete at Cardinal Classic

YORKTOWN, Ind. – Indiana Women's Golf will send a trio of players to compete as individuals in this week's Cardinal Classic at the Players Club, hosted by Ball State. Valerie Clancy, Arushi Singh and Hanna Tanaka will all compete at the event. The field will play 36 holes on Monday with the final round coming on Tuesday morning.

• The first round will be a shotgun start teeing off at 8:30 a.m. The second round will follow its conclusion while the final round will tee off Tuesday at 9 a.m.
• Other teams competing in the event include Ball State, Bowling Green, Bradley, Cleveland State, Dayton, Eastern Michigan
• Indiana sent four individuals to the event last year, including Singh as she finished tied for 31st.
• Tanaka and Clancy will each make their collegiate debuts in the event. Clancy joins the Hoosiers from Ireland, where she competed for the Girls Under-18 International Team for four years at the European Girls team championships. Tanaka hails from Glenview, Ill., where she averaged a 74 as a senior at Glenbrook South High School.
