Clancy Finishes Third in First Collegiate Event

YORKTOWN, Ind. – In her college debut, Indiana women's golf freshman Valerie Clancy finished third in the Cardinal Classic at the Players Club. Clancy is one of three Hoosiers who competed in the event as an individual.

CHIP-INS
• Clancy carded a 69 in the final round to move up four spots from yesterday and finish in third place. The freshman had five birdies on the day, bringing her total for the event to nine, which was the third-most in the field.

• Freshman Hanna Tanaka turned in her best performance in the final round, shooting a 73 on Tuesday. Tanaka finished tied for 28^th place with a score of 17-over-par.

• Sophomore Arushi Singh finished with a final score of 249 in the event, which was tied for 56^th. Singh birdied holes No. 14 and No. 18 on Tuesday to finish with a final score of 33-over-par.
