Next Up Match at Middle Tennessee State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– The Indiana men's tennis team will go on the road to take on Middle Tennessee State on Friday at 5:00 p.m. The match will take place at the Adams Tennis Complex in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
A look at the Blue Raiders
Middle Tennessee State has gotten off to a strong start with an 8-1 record on the season, including wins against Michigan State, New Mexico and Arkansas. The Hoosiers and Blue Raiders have a common opponent. Both teams have played Vanderbilt. Indiana dropped a 4-2 match to Vanderbilt at the ITA Kickoff in Austin, Texas and MTSU lost 4-1 at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn.
Last Time Out
Last time out the Hoosiers pulled out a dramatic 4-3 win at home against Notre Dame. Despite dropping the doubles point, the Hoosiers won four out of six first sets in singles. It was Carson Haskins, who clinched the match for the Hoosiers with the score tied 3-3. Haskins beat his opponent in three sets.
2018-19 Season in Review
The Hoosiers finished 14-12 overall and 6-5 in Big Ten matches. Senior Antonio Cembellin earned All-Big Ten First Team Honors.
Crane Finishes Runner-Up at ITA Regional Championships
Senior Bennett Crane defeated the No. 1 seed on his way to a runner-up finish at the ITA Regional Championships. With his finish at the regional tournament, Crane qualified for the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
