• Indiana will play host to Cincinnati on Wednesday afternoon at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind. in a midweek contest.
• On Tuesday, the Hoosiers fell on the road at in-state rival Evansville, 5-4. After falling behind 5-1, Indiana staged a late rally, but was unable to take down the Purple Aces.
• Jeff Mercer enters his second season at the helm of the Indiana baseball program after leading the Hoosiers to a Big Ten regular season title in 2019, earning him Big Ten Coach of the Year honors.
