IUTF Takes 12 to U.S. Olympic Trials

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – 12 past and present members of Indiana Track & Track will descend to Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. to compete on America's largest track & field stage.
The U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials will be held from Friday, June 18 to Sunday, June 27 at the newly built Hayward Field on University of Oregon's campus. USATF broadcast partner NBC Sports Group announced a robust coverage schedule for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Track & Field. NBC and NBCSN will provide coverage over eight nights, including six in primetime on NBC.
Two former Hoosiers will compete in the Canadian Olympic Trials between June 24 and June 27. Derek Drouin, the reigning gold medalist from Rio, will compete in the high jump along with fellow IU grad Paul Galas. Drouin and Galas are slated to compete in the high jump final on Sunday, June 27 beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET.
