No. 15 IUSD Sends 14 to Day Two Finals

MADISON, Wis. – 14 finalists from Indiana women's swimming and diving will compete Thursday (Feb. 17) night inside Soderholm Family Aquatic Center after preliminary action took place earlier in the day.
The Hoosiers will have eight combined swimmers and divers and one relay squad compete in championship finals during the evening session.

NOTABLES
• Indiana enters the finals with nine second swims. Indiana will have five swimmers in Championship Finals and four in C finals. The Hoosiers will also compete in the 400 Medley Relay championship final.
• Five IU divers earned spots in finals Thursday, with three earning championship bids. The sister duo of freshman Megan Carter and senior Taylor Carter qualified for the consolation final.
• Senior Noelle Peplowski swam a career-best 1:55.96 in the 200 IM prelims. Her time is the seventh-fastest in program history.
• Freshman Ching Hwee Gan's season-best 4:42.96 in the 500 Free prelims puts her 19th on IU's all-time list.
• In total, six swimmers clocked NCAA B Cut standards and nine hit career-best marks.
