
Donegan, Miestowski Guide Hoosiers to Strong Finish

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's golf team, backed by low rounds from freshman Áine Donegan and senior Alexis Miestowski, jumped three spots in the team standings to finish fourth at the IU Invitational played on the Pfau Course on Sunday. Indiana shot a 903 (309-302-292; +39) over the 54-hole weekend.
The Hoosiers shot a 4-over 292 in the final round, the second-lowest team score in the field on Sunday. The score also marked the third-lowest single round for IU this season.

• Donegan wrapped up her sixth top-20 and fourth top-10 of her debut season at Indiana after finishing in a four-way tie for second place with a score of 219 (73-75-71; +3). Her final round 71 was helped by four birdies.
• Miestowski stormed up the leaderboard in the final round to tie for second at 219 (80-71-68; +3). Her final round 68 marked her career-low round at Indiana and consisted of a team-best five birdie conversions. The round was also tied for 11th lowest in program history.
• Her t-second ranking marked her best career individual finish and her seventh career top-10 finish (first since the Courtney Cole Invitational on Oct. 5, 2021).
• Fifth-year senior Mary Parsons produced her second-straight round of 77 to close out her tournament tied for 30th at 235 (81-77-77; +19). Her lone birdie came on No. 12, her first hole of the day.
• Freshman Margaret Fernandez tied for 32nd overall after shooting a 236 (75-79-82; +20).
• Freshman Beatriz Junqueira tied for 46th after shooting a 241 (83-82-76; +25). Her final round included a birdie on No. 1.
• Sophomore Morgan Dabagia finished in a tie for 54th after shooting 246 (83-79-84; +30).
INDIVIDUALS
• Senior Maddie Dittoe converted a birdie on No. 12 in the final round and finished the tournament tied for 46th at 241 (79-81-81; +25).
• Junior Hanna Tanaka tied for 56th after shooting a three-round score of 247 (80-83-84; +31).
• Senior Arushi Singh sank a birdie opportunity on No. 10 to finish the tournament tied for 58th at 249 (83-82-84; +33).
