BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– It's going to be a loaded weekend for Indiana Men's Tennis as the team will host three home matches at the IU Tennis Center.
On Friday, Indiana will host No. 24 Northwestern at 4 p.m., and on Sunday Indiana will play in a double-header against No. 22 Illinois at noon and then face off with Saint Louis at 4:30 p.m.
Indiana enters the matchups with an 11-6 overall record and 1-0 conference mark after last weekend's 7-0 win over Purdue.
In their recent stretch of play, the Hoosiers have shown immense strength in doubles while excelling in singles play, too.
Ekansh Kumar and Luka Vukovic are 10-4 at No. 3 doubles while Patrick Fletchall and Ilya Tiraspolsky are 7-1 at the No. 1 spot.
In singles, freshman Sam Landau has been leading the way in the No. 3 singles spot. His steady play has earned him a 10-1 record to this point in the season.
Indiana's recent play against three strong opponents this weekend should make for some exciting tennis.
